Anne Linnet has been a part of the Danish music scene, since she started the first women-only band Shit & Chanel in 1974. “Jeg er jo lige her” was released in 1988 and is her bestselling album to date. 

The first song on the album is "Tusind stykker", one of Linnet's most famous songs. It was the following year released with Swedish lyrics by the singer and guitarist Björn Afzelius.
