Kliché was formed in 1977 by Lars H.U.G., Johnny Voss, Jens Valo and Anders Brill. The album "Supertanker" from 1980 is a part of the Danish Culture Canon, a list of 108 works that represent the most significant and important works in Denmark’s cultural heritage. The album marks a goodbye to the flower power 70s and hello to a more anarchistic and industrial sound.
