Lis Sørensen released her first solo album in 1984 and she has to date contributed to over 100 records, 16 of these as a solo artist. The characteristic voice of Lis Sørensen has through the last 40 years been the soundtrack to many parties, dinners, car rides, workdays, dance lessons etc. in Denmark.
