After a 16-year break from the record studio, Sort Sol released “Stor Langsom Stjerne” in 2017. The comeback album includes the 10 minutes and 29 second song named K-141 Kursk, which is inspired by the Russian submarine by the same name, which sank in 2000, killing all 118 personnel on board. The album was recorded in the Marble church (Marmorkirken) in Copenhagen.
